The Orange County Public Schools decided the Apopka High School Baseball bleachers were too dangerous and removed them for replacement. The only time available for removal throughout the entire year was immediately before the baseball season started. So guess what we don't have for opening day.
You got it. Bring Your Chairs This is odd |

On October 3, 2003, a beautiful Friday night, the Edgewater Fighting Eagles came to Apopka to play a football game. The Eagles played well and with 30 seconds left in the game, they had a fine 17-7 lead and the ball around mid-field. What teams normally do in this situation is have their quarterback take a knee, run the clock out for the win, and congratulate each other for what they have done. And this is what everyone expected to see. But the clever Eagles fooled everybody by pretending to run while actually throwing a long pass for one last touchdown. Apparently, the scoreboard wasn't easily viewable from their side and they thought they needed to score again. This is odd. |

| This is "The Voice Of The Apopka Blue Darters", our own Steve Schwarze. This picture was taken right after he was escorted out of the Edgewater game. It seems Steve is not welcome at the home of the Eagles. This is odd. |
